DESCRIPTION:Sahara Wellbeing CIC is an award-winning community organisation supporting older South Asian people across Medway to feel connected\, valued and supported as they age. \nTheir Gao Aur Banao programme brings people together through music and creativity\, with alternating singing and art sessions. It’s a lovely opportunity to enjoy familiar songs\, try out new art skills and spend time creating alongside others. \nNo previous experience is needed\, and people living with dementia\, memory difficulties or other support needs are very welcome. \n\n  \n > Book for Free\n  \nWho is it for? \nThe sessions are for people aged 55 and over who would benefit from a little extra support and connection\, including anyone experiencing loneliness or isolation. \n\nA few things to know before you book: \n\nTea and refreshments will be available\, but lunch isn’t provided. You’re welcome to bring your own\, and there’s also a café in the building.\nBooking is essential so that materials and activities can be prepared for everyone.\nAttendees must be registered with Sahara Wellbeing CIC before attending.
