At Sun Pier House, we bring people together through creativity and community.

We work with artists, creative organisations, and those who want to make the world a better place through cultural engagement. Our space is a hub for collaboration, inspiration, and growth, welcoming local artists, small businesses, and residents to connect and share ideas.

Founded by Medway residents Heather and Ed, Sun Pier House began as an unexpected opportunity in 2012 and has since grown into a thriving creative arts venue. Over 10 years later, we’re still evolving, with big ambitions and plenty of exciting ideas for the future.

Spread across three floors, our venue is home to a Gallery, 26 Artist Studios, The Creation Space, Community Hire Space and a Café with stunning river views. Whether you’re here to create, exhibit, learn, or simply enjoy the atmosphere, we want everyone to feel part of something special.

We believe art and creativity should be for everyone. That’s why we run exhibitions, workshops, and events that give people the chance to express themselves, develop new skills, and engage with Medway’s creative community.

We also care deeply about our local heritage and the environment, ensuring that our work positively impacts the community in a meaningful and sustainable way.
