Fundraising

Sun Pier House is a not-for-profit-arts organisation made possible due to the support of the public, charities and like minded organisations – so thank you!

Volunteer Opportunities

For the last 10 years Sun Pier House has recognised the value volunteers bring to our organisation.

Not only do volunteers help support our ambitions, but we believe that volunteers can help shape us by bringing their own skills, experience, interests and personality to Sun Pier House, and positively impact the organisation.

To register your interest please get in touch with us here:

Public Donations

Donations are a vital part of our fundraising, your contribution will help sustain the delivery of our programmes, workshops and organisation as a whole.

£10 would pay for 3 children to learn a new artistic skill at a free workshop

£25 would pay for an hours room hire for a grass roots community group

£50 would pay for basic art materials to help fund Sun Pier House Art Bank

Corporate Partnerships

We appreciate partnering with local businesses whose values align with Sun Pier House’s sense of community, kindness and culture.

Partners can support us, not only by providing financial help for the day-to-day running of Sun Pier House, but also by providing practical support in the form of volunteers, materials, and expertise. Working together we will ensure that the partnership is tailored to maximise value to both parties.

L!FT OFF

10 years ago, Sun Pier House CIC was formed to support Medway’s creative industries, provide a base for a community of artists and creative businesses, and deliver community projects and workshops. Because the building is split over three floors with no lift access, we have been unintentionally excluding a large part of our diverse community – but this is where it all changes!

In 2024 we will be opening the doors of Sun Pier House to all people, of all abilities, to create, engage and inspire. And its not just a lift we are installing, we are also increasing our studio and creative workspaces, building The Creation Space: a new, accessible workshop room, and improving our entrances and wayfinding, as well as making Sun Pier House more environmentally friendly.

Over the next year, we will be holding quiz nights, raffles, “buy a brick campaigns and lots of other fundraising events. Any donation, big or small, will go towards transforming Sun Pier House into an inclusive, accessible and exciting arts space.
