Gao Aur Banao ART – Music & Making programme with Sahara Wellbeing CIC
November 26 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Sahara Wellbeing CIC is an award-winning community organisation supporting older South Asian people across Medway to feel connected, valued and supported as they age.
Their Gao Aur Banao programme brings people together through music and creativity, with alternating singing and art sessions. It’s a lovely opportunity to enjoy familiar songs, try out new art skills and spend time creating alongside others.
No previous experience is needed, and people living with dementia, memory difficulties or other support needs are very welcome.

Who is it for?
The sessions are for people aged 55 and over who would benefit from a little extra support and connection, including anyone experiencing loneliness or isolation.

A few things to know before you book:
- Tea and refreshments will be available, but lunch isn’t provided. You’re welcome to bring your own, and there’s also a café in the building.
- Booking is essential so that materials and activities can be prepared for everyone.
- Attendees must be registered with Sahara Wellbeing CIC before attending. If you’re not registered yet, please contact Sahara before booking
We’re pleased to welcome Sahara Wellbeing CIC to Sun Pier House for this opportunity to connect, get creative and enjoy some time together.
