In 2013 we took over two empty commercial buildings and modified them into an diverse arts space, including 24 studio units over 3 floors.

Our first studio resident moved in with us at the very beginning of our project here at Sun Pier House in January 2013. Since then we’ve been home to over a hundred different artists. Each studio varies in size and come with large windows looking out at a fantastic view of the River Medway – perfect inspiration!

Want to see the inside workings of the our artist’s studios? Once a year our residents open their doors to welcome in the public, exhibit their work and talk about their practice – Medway Open Studios is an annual event across Medway, taking place in July each year and free for the public.
