Second Chance Medway Art Auction
Date: Until Thursday, 13th November 2025
Location: Sun Pier House
This year, the exhibition theme is ‘second chance’ and we’re on the call out for your preloved art and any art no longer wanted, to hang in one big show, for someone new to come along and buy.
“We are looking to give preloved art a Second Chance, if you have purchased pieces that are not hanging up then please consider donating them to our 2025 auction, enabling us to update the fund this Christmas.”

Looking for a relaxed way to spend your evening? Gallery Lates at Sun Pier House are back – and better than ever. Think chilled-out vibes, creative energy, and stunning views over the river, all rolled into one perfect after-hours social.

Makestock: Learn to crochet – level 2
Date: Thursday, 13th November 2025
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Location: Community Hire Space, 1st Floor
Learn how to make a selection of granny squares, a braided cord basket and some basic amigurumi – the ideal next step after completing ‘Crochet Basics’.
All materials, tools, and refreshments provided. Taught in UK crochet terms. Suitable for right- and left-handed beginners.

Kent Dreams: Poetry and Spoken Word

Kent Dreams is a space for creatives, poets and dreamers. For artist to come along and perform anything from poetry, spoken word or music. With booked acts such as the talented up and coming artist Atlas Azure, Azaliasuhaimi and more plus a few open slots for people to perform. Kent Dream’s first event was in 2018 and has become one of the most well known poetry events in Medway.

Connor Sansby performs work from his latest collection ‘Where The Land Forgets Itself’ alongside Ciarán Barata-Hynes, a multiple Slam winning poet, current Kent Poetry Champion and first runner-up of the UK Slam Championship 2024.

Join Sarah from Miss Ava’s Millinery for a relaxed and creative two-hour workshop, where you’ll craft your own festive decoration. Whether you’re completely new to sewing or a seasoned maker, this session is designed to be fun, hands-on, and beginner-friendly.

Sun Pier Sounds is back! Join us for laid-back live music from local musicians. Relax on a Thursday evening as we introduce you to three local artists playing stripped back, indie rock/pop, singer/songwriter and folk music. Doors open at 7pm with the first act at 7.30pm.
