Mick Shaughnessy’s Art Classes

Mick Shaughnessy runs a variety of art classes in the Arts Lab ranging from Life Drawing, Drawing & Painting and Oil Painting. These classes are suitable for beginners and more experienced students alike.

Teaching by demonstration as well as offering one to one and group tuition in a friendly and relaxed environment, the assigned projects throughout these classes offer plenty of opportunity for everyone to explore their preferred media and subject matter in detail.

Drawing & Painting:

  • Suitable for beginners and more experienced students. Various media used, including pencil, charcoal, pastels, gouache, watercolour, acrylic and oil.
  • £190 for 17 weeks.
  • Tuesday 1.30pm – 3:30pm
  • Wednesday 10:30am – 12:30pm & 1.30pm – 3:30pm
  • Thursday 10.30am – 12.30pm & 7.00pm – 9.00pm
  • Term time only

Oil & Acrylic Painting:

  • Suitable for those with reasonable drawing skills and experience with other paint media
  • The cost is £190 for 17 weeks
  • Tuesday mornings, 10:30am – 12:30pm
  • Term time only
